10th Leyla Gencer Voice Competition Final Gala

Witness historic moments as the competition reaches its peak

The Leyla Gencer Voice Competition, the only international competition of its kind in Türkiye, is once again set to identify the rising stars of the opera stage. Out of the 42 young contestants from 17 countries who came to Istanbul, only eight will reach the final on the evening of 27 September, where they will take the stage to fulfil their dreams.

During the grand final gala, each finalist will perform an aria accompanied by the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Italian conductor Pietro Mianiti. In addition to competing for the top three awards decided by the jury, the finalists will also vie for special prizes and the Leyla Gencer Audience Award, determined by audience votes.
