The Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts will be hosting one of the world's greatest orchestras, The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra on Saturday, 10 November in Haliç Congress Centre, within the framework of the 400th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and the Netherlands.
Acting as one of the main cultural ambassadors for the Netherlands, The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra consists of 120 virtuosos who perform together at the highest level. The Istanbul concert of the world-renowned orchestra will be concucted by an American conductor, Lorin Maazel, who has been the chief conductor of the Munich Philharmohic since 2012/2013 season.
