İKSV Galas: Killers of the Flower Moon

İKSV Galas presents Martin Scorsese's latest star-studded masterpiece Killers of the Flower Moon, following its Cannes and London film festival premieres, with the sponsorship of Ali Muhiddin Hacı Bekir, hosted by UNIQ Hall.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in leading roles, Killers of the Flower Moon received a standing ovation of nine minutes at Cannes Film Festival where it premiered. The film is already a strong contender for the upcoming Oscars, receiving praise as 'yet another artistic zenith for Martin Scorsese and his collaborators.'

Maintaining its suspense and gripping from the get-go, Killers of the Flower Moon is based on David Grann’s broadly lauded best-selling book, Killers of the Flower Moon is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror. Killers of the Flower Moon is directed from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Martin Scorsese.

A great portion of the film was shot on location at Osage County, and local Osage Nation members were involved as advisors, cultural consultants, and cast. The film's soundtrack is composed by Robbie Robertson who died in August 2023.
