Cité des Arts Turkey Workshop 2024 applications are closed.
The residency program is open to all artists working in the fields of visual arts, experimental film, design and performative arts. Applications can be made until 2 November 2023 for the January-March, April-June, July-September and October-December periods of 2024.
The selection of artists is made by a Selection Committee consisting of Çelenk Bafra, Özer Dicle, Ayşegül Kurtel, Bige Örer, Ulya Soley, Rüçhan Şahinoğlu and Duygu Şengünler through an open call. After the first selection by the members of the Selection Committee, the artists who are shortlisted for the second stage will be invited to the İKSV building to discuss their art practices and the projects they would like to realize at the Cité Internationale des Arts Turkey Workshop with the members of the Selection Committee and the İKSV team.
Applications are only accepted through the online application form until 2 November 2023 at 17.00.
The admitted artists will be announced on the İKSV website (iksv.org) and social media accounts.
Application requirements
- Being younger than 40 years old at the time of the application
- Speaking either English or French fluently
- Working professionally in the field of visual arts, experimental film, design, and performative arts
Applications made collectively or as a group will be considered invalid.
Applications for the workshop are evaluated based on the artist's portfolio, the project outlined in the letter of intent, the alignment of the project's expectations with what the Cité des Arts Residency Programme can offer, and the potential contribution the city of Paris can make to the development of the project. Applications can be made with a new or an ongoing project.

We will notify you via email about the result of your application once our evaluation process is complete. Given the large number of applications, we are unable to provide updates on the status of your application during the evaluation process.
