Nazlı Pektaş (1975, Edremit) is an art historian, curator, and critic. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Art History at Mimar Sinan University, her master's degree in the Department of Ceramics and Glass at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, and her proficiency in arts at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Currently, Pektaş teaches as a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts at both Marmara and Yeditepe Universities.
Pektaş has authored several books including Bir Seyyahın Resimli Güncesi Muhsin Kut published by İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları. In the book Memory/Labor published by Yapı Kredi Publications (YKY), she compiled interviews with key figures who contributed to the art and culture scene in Türkiye. Her writings are featured in İmgenin Zamanı: Sanat, Hafıza, Direniş published by Corpus Yayınları, Cinsiyeti Yazmak published by Yapı Kredi Yayınları, and Belgesel / Kısa Film / Video Sanatı. Nazlı Pektaş's articles are also published in various art journals such as Sanat Dünyamız (YKY), Art Unlimited, Cumhuriyet, and Oksijen.
Her major exhibitions include Sanayiden Manzaralar, SUMMART (2023); Videodaki Manzara, CIF Cocoon (2022); Selman Bilal Koleksiyoner Sergisi, Art Week Akaretler (2022); Na/mütenahi Hürriyet, Bilsart (2022); İntihal mi? / Hal mi?, Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts (2018); and A4, Marmara University Cumhuriyet Museum and Art Gallery (2017). Pektaş continues to curate various exhibitions. She is a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA Turkey).
