Born in 2007 in Ankara, Bade Daştan began her music education at Bilkent Music School, specializing in violin. She studied under Vseslava Kudinova and later Muhammedjan Turdiev. In 2018, with the support of ÇEV Sanat, she continued her education at the Musica Mundi School in Brussels under the guidance of Leonid Kerbel. In 2024, she was admitted to the Curtis Institute of Music with top honours, becoming the first Turkish violinist to enter this prestigious institution.
Bade Daştan performed a 50-minute recital as part of İş Sanat’s “Shining Stars” series, making her the youngest participant in the programme. In 2017, she had her first orchestral experience with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. That same year, she performed Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto as a soloist with the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Ender Sakpınar. She has since shared the stage with the Eurasia Philharmonic Orchestra, Karşıyaka Municipality Chamber Orchestra, Musica Mundi Orchestra, and İzmir State Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with esteemed conductors such as İbrahim Yazıcı, Gilbert Varga, Hakan Şensoy, and Tolga Taviş. Additionally, she has participated in masterclasses and workshops with renowned musicians, including Itzhak Rashkovsky, Ani Schnarch, Cihat Aşkın, Igor Tkatchuk, Alexander Vinnitski, Boris Kuschnir, Mincho Minchev, and Maxim Vengerov.
On the international stage, Bade Daştan has achieved significant success, winning second prize at the 24th Andrea Postacchini Competition in Italy, first prize and the award for best interpretation of Vladigerov at the Pancho Vladigerov Competition in Bulgaria, first prize at the International Competition Young Virtuosos in Bulgaria, and first prize at the International Grumiaux Competition for Young Violinists in Belgium.
