The workshop “Teenagers Create with Artists”, organised by İKSV Alt Kat in collaboration with the Istanbul Biennial and with the support of the İstanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), was held between 26 March and 25 June. High school students from the Beyoğlu and Fatih districts participated in the workshop programme coordinated by Volkan Aslan that lasted 12 weeks.
The participants, who created various works of art, produced two video works at the end of the workshop. These video works were exhibited at the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) sailboat Blue Panda, which toured different parts of İstanbul during the 16th Istanbul Biennial.
Participating teenagers also found the opportunity to view the artworks exhibited at Büyükada within the scope of the 16th Istanbul Biennial while being accompanied by a guide. For further information about the workshop please click here.
